Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to form a binding contract with us. If you are under 18, you may only use our services with the involvement and explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• ▸Scope of Work: ComicArtHub offers custom illustration, character design, formatting, and book layout services for comics and children's books. The specific scope, timeline, and deliverables for any project will be agreed upon in a separate written proposal or invoice.
• ▸Revisions: The number of allowed revisions will be specified in your project agreement. Revisions requested outside of the agreed-upon scope may incur additional fees.

• ▸Your Submissions: You are solely responsible for any text, scripts, character concepts, or reference materials you provide to us. You guarantee that you own or have the necessary licenses/permissions for all materials you supply.
• ▸Prohibited Content: We reserve the right to refuse projects that contain hate speech, extreme gratuitous violence, defamation, or content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing in a specific project contract, the default terms for intellectual property are as follows:

• ▸Artist Rights: ComicArtHub (and its contributing artists) retains the moral rights to be identified as the creator of the artwork. We reserve the right to display the commissioned artwork in our online portfolio, social media, and marketing materials, unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or privacy buyout is explicitly agreed upon before the start of the project.
• ▸Client Rights: Upon final approval and receipt of full and final payment, the copyright and commercial publication rights for the final custom illustrations/designs are transferred to the Client for use in their book publication.

• ▸Pricing: Prices for custom designs are quoted based on the complexity of the project. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• ▸Payment Terms: Typically, a deposit (e.g., 50% upfront) is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion and before final high-resolution files are delivered. Clients can also order through Fiverr and Upwork from the links provided in our website which the payments are protected by Escrow Service.
• ▸Refunds and Cancellations: If you cancel a project after work has commenced, the upfront deposit is non-refundable to compensate for the artist's time and labor dedicated to your project up to that point.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ComicArtHub and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or connection with your use of our website or completed designs. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us for the specific project in question.

Our services and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to deliver industry-standard formatting for publishing platforms (such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.), we do not guarantee approval by third-party publishers, as their formatting guidelines change frequently. It is the Client's responsibility to review final proofs prior to printing.
